CRES faculty, micha cárdenas (Art & Design: Games and Playable Media), recently had her AR game, Sin Sol mentioned in the online journal Brooklyn Rail, which provides an independent forum for arts, culture, and politics throughout New York City and far beyond and the Arts section of KQED.
The story is told by a trans Latinx AI hologram about how climate change induced wildfires disproportionately harm immigrants, trans people and chronically ill people. Her game can be seen through February at the YBCA in San Francisco and on the apple App Store.
