This co-edited volume, Sound Changes: Improvisation and Transcultural Difference, was published last week by the University of Michigan Press and is the third and final publication from a collaboration with Daniel Fischlin of the University of Guelph. It follows a 2016 special issue of Critical Studies in Improvisation / Études critiques en
improvisation and their 2020 volume Playing for Keeps: Improvisation in the Aftermath.
