Possibilities of Palestinian Refusal: Against Disciplining Knowledge and Movement
Lara Sheehi
Assistant Professor, Clinical Psychology, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
November 20, 2024 @ 4pm | Cervantes & Velasquez Room
This talk will discuss the ways that psychic intrusions are central features of settler colonial logics and how they are used with specific intent to disrupt solidarities. Palestine-Lebanon solidarities will be used as a "case study" to read the psycho-politico-affective forces that demobilize.
Cosponsored by Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, Feminist Studies, Center for the Middle East and North Africa, the People's University, Faculty for Justice in Palestine, and Students for Justice in Palestine.
